Chesapeake Beach Green Team
The Green Team is a committee of volunteers that work to create priorities for sustainable improvements with the Town of Chesapeake Beach. The Green Team is funded by the Town of Chesapeake Beach through the annual budgeting process and works with Town staff to implement strategies in the Town to improve sustainability, outreach and education.
The Green Team seeks to engage the community and provide easy tips for residents to contribute to the cleanliness of the Chesapeake Bay and the environment. The Green Team is available to assist you in certifying your yard and gardens! Please email us and schedule your appointment today! Our goal is to certify as many yards in Chesapeake Beach as we can. Let's do our part in protecting our Bay!
The mission of the Chesapeake Beach Green Team is to promote a vibrant and sustainable Chesapeake Beach community that fosters long-term environmental and individual health, social well-being, and economic prosperity for its residents, businesses, and government.
