Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

January 9, 2022 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- The Mayor and Town Council join Governor Larry Hogan in recognition and appreciation of our law enforcement on "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day". Governor Hogan issued a proclamation recognizing January 9, 2022 as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day in Maryland. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to our brave law enforcement officers who run toward the danger and adversity when others run away.
Citizens are encouraged to honor, recognize and support our police officers who serve and live in our communities.
