Storm Update and Hazardous conditions

January 3, 2022  (Chesapeake Beach, MD)-Route 260 just prior to Richfield Station remains shut down in both directions due to electrical lines, communication lines and poles that are down along with trees that remain in the roadway. The repairs required are extensive.

Due to dangerous roadways, trash will NOT be collected tomorrow January 4th.

Town roadways continue to be cleared and widened. It is recommended that residents leave the last 3 feet of their driveways until plowing has been completed. 

Roadways continue to be very hazardous.
