Taking on Invasive Plants in Chesapeake Beach

May 21, 2021 (Chesapeake Beach, MD) - Looking for a way to make a difference in your Town and your yard? Join the Chesapeake Beach Green Team on June 5th, 2021 at 9:00 AM for a community cleanup and hear more about how to identify invasive species. The Green Team will meet at Bayfront Park and volunteers are asked to please bring gloves and clippers. All other supplies will be provided by the Town. 

The Chesapeake Beach Green Team is committed to a sustainable local landscape that supports wildlife and the Chesapeake Bay, which includes a plan to remove invasive plants within the Town public spaces.  The Green Team is seeking members who want to get outside and make a difference in their community and join their neighbors for some fun!!
