Opioid Abuse Awareness Coalition

ADDICTION RAPID RESPONSE help is available please call (877) 467-5628- 7 days a week from 7am-11pm any day of the week. We will help streamline access to recovery services and can provide urgent same-day opiate treatment through our Mobile Crisis Team. Telehealth service is also available for clients who have access to either an iPhone, Android, or computer equipped with webcam.

The Twin Beach Opioid Awareness Committee is a committee of the Chesapeake Beach Town Government committed to raising awareness of opioid drug addiction in the neighboring communities of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach Maryland. Our organization facilitates awareness of existing assistance programs, all while ensuring community access to prevention information and the appropriate resources for those in need. 

Chesapeake Beach's and North Beach's efforts to raise awareness of the opioid crisis in their communities through the Twin Opioid Abuse Awareness Committee was recognized as a best practice by the Maryland Municipal League during their summer 2018 conference. Committee Chairs, Keith Pardieck and Cheryl Greene, were invited to present at the 2018 MML conference as part of the "Combatting Opioids: Municipal Best Practices" session.
