June 30, 2023 (Chesapeake Beach, MD): The Town of Chesapeake Beach continues to monitor air quality as many of our residents and guests enjoy our recreational parks. Per the Maryland Department of the Environment, "Widespread high USG (Code Orange) conditions are expected to linger through the day Friday due to Quebec wildfire smoke impacting the area.".  Our parks will be open today as we continue to monitor air quality.
