July 28, 2021 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- The Town continues to seek input on the improvements at Kellam's Field. The recently established Kellam's Revitalization Committee requests that citizens provide general comments related to what they would like to see at the complex. The commmittee has held public outreach sessions to capture public input and continues the request for feedback from citizens.

The Town continues to define the scope of work for repairs and improvements at the Miller-Loveless Park at Kellam's field to include the addition of a senior playground. This project will be completed in (2) two phases with phase (1) one being the site work necessary to address storm water management, ADA access to the Park and establishing a base for the equipment and phase (2) being the installation of equipment. Thank you to the citizens that provided input on the types of equipment desired at the Park.

General responses received show that citizens prefer climbing equipment, slides and baby swings in the childrens play area and agility and multi gym equipment in the adult low impact space.
