Delayed Opening of Town Hall (For In-Person Walk In's)

January 15, 2024 (Chesapeake Beach, MD) - The Town of Chesapeake Beach Town Hall will open for in person walk in's tomorrow on a delayed schedule starting at 10 AM due to inclement weather. Town Hall phone lines will open as normal at 8:30 AM tomorrow morning. All trash services remain on schedule with no disruptions expected for this week.

The area remains under a Winter Weather Advisory that will be in effect until 7 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2024:

WHAT...Mostly snow, although some freezing rain may mix in late tonight south and east of Washington DC. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze.

WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Tuesday.

IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow intensity will increase this evening before tapering off overnight.
