August 7, 2022 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- BGE is on scene working to restore power to approximately 5,000 customers in our area that remain without power. BGE is also investigating unsafe conditions reported. Please keep in mind that fallen overhead power lines and street lights, sparking wires, and equipment on fire should never be approached or touched. Call BGE at 1-877-778-2222 immediately to report a hazard.
