Inclement Weather Notice from Public Works

January 15, 2024 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- The Town of Chesapeake Beach Public Works crews are treating Town roadways and ask that residents move their cars off of the Town roadways so that plows can clear the roads safely and efficiently. Leaving a car on the road is dangerous to plow operators and can result in damage to vehicles.

Public Works crews will be working into the evening with a focus on keeping Town roadways open for all vehicles and will be back out in the morning to clear shoulder to shoulder. For residents awareness, waiting for Public Works crews to complete the shoulder the shoulder plowing in the morning before cleaning the end of their driveway is advisable; otherwise, residents may need to clear the end of their driveway twice. We appreciate your patience.
