NOTICE: Flooding Response and Damage Repairs

January 10, 2024 (Chesapeake Beach, MD) - The Town of Chesapeake Beach Public Works provides notice of damage to the Bayfront Park bridge/boardwalk is now repaired and OPEN for access! Thank you our Public Works crews for their quick response!

Thank you to our Chesapeake Beach Water Reclamation Treatment Plant (CBWRTP) staff for working through the night monitoring flows and making adjustments to Plant operations as necessary. Thank you to the Town of Chesapeake Beach Public Works Crews, Twin Beach Deputies, Calvert County Sheriffs Office and the State Highway Administration for monitoring flooding prior to the storm, during the storm and after the storm.
