NOTICE: Notice of Public Works Repairs

Making Improvements to Town roadways

January 29, 2024 (Chesapeake Beach, MD) - The Town of Chesapeake Beach provides public notice of road repairs and patchwork in the following areas: 

Alley at G street in between 27th and 28th: The Town will be removing and replacing portions of the alley at G street in between 27th street and MD RT 260. The alley will be closed Tuesday January 30th (weather permitting) due to the requirement to remove and replace the western portion of the Town's alley. The portion highlighted in red below is the section that will be closed. The eastern portion of the alley will remain open for residential access.

Please use caution in the area and DO NOT enter the work zone, which will be clearly marked. Thank you for your patience as we make these necessary improvements to Town assets. Stay tuned for Town notices with any changes to the schedule.

Alley Closure

Road Patching: On January 30, 2024 crews will be patching roadways at the following locations. Please use caution when passing though.

  • B st and Old Bayside
  • B st and 14th
  • C st and Old Bayside
  • East end of Cox road
  • Stream Walkway
