NOTICE: Water Meter Upgrades

February 15, 2024 (Chesapeake Beach, MD) - The Public Works Staff for the Town of Chesapeake Beach is conducting utility meter upgrades throughout the Town over the next several months. When the Town has specific areas that staff will be working identified a e-blast notice will be provided to citizens; however, at this time Public Works staff are prioritizing meters that are currently not reading, which are within several areas throughout Town. If Public Works is required to upgrade your water meter, staff will knock on your door to notify you of the meter change out that will occur within the Town's right of way. If there is no answer, staff will continue with their work to upgrade the meter. While the upgrade is taking place there will be an interruption of water services for approximately 15-30 minutes at each location.
