Open Public Comment Sessions

September 30, 2021 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- The Town of Chesapeake Beach announces open public comment sessions in response to the recently released "Official Public Hearing Draft" of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update. There are multiple ways to provide public comment and engage in Q&A sessions with Town staff to ensure that your feedback is heard. These sessions will be held in person, by phone or virtually. Information related to the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Process can be found at www.planchesapeakebeachmd.gov or by calling Town Hall at (410)257-2230.

In person meetings with our Town Planner / Planning and Zoning Administrator are available on October 5th from 10-3 pm and November 1st from 9-3 pm at Town Hall. Social distancing and masks will be required inside Town Hall. Schedule a phone call with our Town Planner during the timeslots available on October 6th and October 14th by contacting Sharon Humm at (410)257-2230 or shumm@chesapeakebeachmd.gov and /or join a virtual Q&A with our Town Planner on October 19th from 7-8:30 PM.
