PUBLIC WORKS NOTICE: Improvements in Richfield Station

February 20, 2024 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- The Town of Chesapeake Beach Public Works staff provide notice that on Wednesday February 21st Public Works crews will be assisting a private firm,  Engineering Design Technologies inc. to  perform electrical ground testing in the road with NO disruption to water service. On Thursday February 22nd Public Works will be required to shut the water OFF at stream walk away starting at 9:00 AM and anticipate the water to be back on no later than 3:00 PM on February 22. This interruption is a result of Public Works crews proactively replacing the failing saddle at 7986 Stream Walk Way, simultaneously Engineering Design Technologies Inc will be performing underground testing that will  be completed by Friday the 23rd. Homes impacted will receive a notice on their door.

The below map shows the location where the water service will be off from 9:00 to 3:00 on the 22nd (locations in marked in red will be impacted).
