Rescue Along the Railway Trail

April 20, 2022 (Chesapeake Beach, MD) - Thanks to our vigilant Town citizens for reporting a person in distress near the Railway Trail our first responders were able to bring the individual to safety. Thank you to the Twin Beaches Deputies, Calvert County Sheriff's Office, the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department, and First Responders for their water rescue and transport of the individual in need of help. 

The immediate response and use of additional tools to include a drone were impressive. Thank you, first responders!
