Senate Emeritus Thomas V. Mike Miller

January 20, 2021 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- On Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 4 p.m., the funeral procession will begin for Senate Emeritus Thomas V. Mike Miller from the Lee Funeral Home in Clinton to the State House. Senator Miller will be escorted by Maryland State Troopers. 

Residents that would like to honor Senate Emeritus Thomas V. Mike Miller are asked to wave as the procession makes its way through Chesapeake Beach. At around 5:00 PM the procession will head North on Chesapeake Beach Rd RT261 from Camp Roosevelt, take a left on RT260 at Veterans' Park and head west on RT260 towards RT2.

Senator Miller will lie in state at the State House beginning on Friday January 22, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. with visitation by Prescheduled limited appt only. This will be live-streamed. There will be a break from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, as the Senate will conduct a memorial session. The State House is closed to visitors, but the program will be live streamed at http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/. At 7:30 PM on Friday January 22, 2021 Senator Miller will leave the State House for the last time and get a proper send off you can view on Rowe Blvd.

Saturday, the family will hold a private Mass of Christian Burial at their family church, St. John the Evangelist in Clinton at 11 a.m., followed by a private internment. The funeral mass will be livestreamed on the St. John the Evangelist Facebook page @Saintjohnevangelist
