Flood Mapping

September 2, 2022 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- The Town of Chesapeake Beach Coastal Resiliency Steering Committee held a public meeting on September 1, 2022, at the Chesapeake Beach Town Hall to discuss plans to review and advise the Town on Flooding and Sea Level rise. 

This project is funded by a grant awarded to the Town of Chesapeake Beach through the State of Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Chesapeake and Coastal Service with funding from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric (NOAA). This work is in coordination with a citizen advisory steering committee and the Town of North Beach. The citizen advisory steering committee seeks public comment on plans to address flood and sea level rise within the Town of Chesapeake Beach.

Attend a Coastal Resiliency Public Meeting, all meetings are posting on the Town's upcoming Town meeting notices. Attend the Taste the Beaches event on September 17th from 1-5 to speak with the steering committee Chair Jeff Foltz and check out our Coastal Resiliency page and stay up to date on our progress.
