Northeast Community Center CLOSING at 12

October 29th, 2021 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- Due to inclement weather, the Calvert County Office of Emergency Management expects to open Huntingtown High School at 3:00 PM as a emergency shelter. Information related to a County operated pet shelter and the Huntingtown High School emergency shelter is expected to be released from the County shortly. Citizens in a area that is vulnerable to flooding should take action to ensure their safety. 

Update: the Northeast Community Center will close at 12:00 PM today. 

The 17th street boardwalk to Bayfront Park and Bayfront Park are closed until further notice. 

Town Hall staff is accessible by phone at (410) 257-2230. Town Hall is currently closed to walk in's. The Towns 24/7 emergency line, and response, remains open and accessible.
