Welcome Kiley!

October 20, 2023 (Chesapeake Beach, MD) - Please join us in welcoming Kiley Grogard to the Town of Chesapeake Beach as the Town's Customer Service Specialist! While Kiley is new to being employed in Town Hall, she has worked for the Town for multiple years through her employment at the Chesapeake Beach Water Park!

As a resident of the Town, Kiley began stimulating the economy soon after arriving to Town at the age of 5! Kiley learned how to catch crabs on the pilings around the dock and, with the help of her dad, struck a deal with Captain George Klein of Tyler’s Tackle Shop to buy her crabs for $1.00 each! (Softies were worth $2.00!) That was the humble beginning of a longtime town friendship, which Kiley fully intends to pass on to her young son as soon as he’s ready!

Kiley brings a wealth of customer service experience to her new role at the Town of Chesapeake Beach and the positive, upbeat energy to support it! In addition, Kiley holds a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Communication and will be using her education to assist the Town in furthering our communication efforts through multiple platforms including @chesapeakebeachmd and @tocbevents.
