Trash and Recycling Notice
January 23, 2024 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)-
Good morning Chesapeake Beach,
Depending on the scheduled pickup day there was an issue with icy streets on some of the routes due to our drivers not able to do pick ups. We are also working on regular scheduling for this week. Residents are allowed to put out any extra items they may have for this week. Please make sure you are setting out the appropriate items on the appropriate days. Below is a picture as a reminder of what is accepted as Recycling and what should not be placed in your recycling bin. We need your help with this Chesapeake Beach. If there is Trash in your Recycling bin, but set out by the curb on a Trash Day, the drivers are confused and honestly, should not be picking it up. Please use a different waste receptacle for your Trash, as the Blue Recycle Bins should only be for our recyclable materials and set out curb-side on Thursdays, in Chesapeake Beach. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding, Chesapeake Beach! Thank you for your help in our constant effort to keep our planet Green!
These items are organized in a table below in case the pictures were confusing.
