Case #2024-02: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing beginning at 7:00 PM May 1, 2024 on Case #2024-02 Michael & Beverly Folmer, 3905 27th Street, Chesapeake Beach, MD. To view the meeting packet please click here.  This meeting will be held at the Chesapeake Beach Town Hall and live-streamed here on the Town's channel. 

Case #2023-03: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on May 29, 2024 beginning at 6:30 p.m for a continuation of Case #2023-23 at the Chesapeake Beach Town Hall and live-streamed on the Town's channel here. This hearing is a continuation of the September 19, 2023, October 30, 2023, November 14, 2023, January 4, 2024, January 25, 2024, February 8, 2024, March 14, 2024, and April 17, 2024.  Board of Appeals hearing pertaining to Case #2023-03 to consider an application from Rod & Reel, Inc./Donovan Estates, LLC of 4160 Mears Avenue, Chesapeake Beach, MD, for a Decision on Interpretation or Alleged Error to Article VI, §290-23; §290-31 A(1) & (6) of the Chesapeake Beach Zoning Ordinance; and C-309, C-310, and C-311 of the Chesapeake Beach Town Charter. The Applicant requests the Chesapeake Beach Zoning Board of Appeals to "order the Zoning Administrator and Planning and Zoning Commission (to) immediately commence and prioritize the processing and review of the relevant site plans submitted by Rod & Reel, Inc./Donovan Estates, LLC and that the Zoning Administrator and Planning and Zoning Commission be ordered to apply the Zoning ordinances in effect as of January 29, 2021, when the applications were submitted, and for such other and further relief as the nature of their cause requires". 

NOTICE TO PARTIES OF RECORD on Case #2023-03: On April 18, 2024 the Chesapeake Beach Board of Appeals issued a letter to Parties of Record on Case No.2023-03 Rod N Reel, Inc / Donovan Estates LLC. To view the letter please click here and supporting information. Comments are due back to the Board of Appeals by April 30, 2024 via Sharon Humm, Town Clerk, at shumm@chesapeakebeachmd.gov. Per the Board of Appeals Rules of Procedure any individual wishing to become a person of record "party of record" must indicate this by signing up to speak at the hearing or otherwise noting their intention in writing to become a person of record.
