One Bright Town

November 28, 2023 (Chesapeake Beach, MD)- On November 26th, the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Chesapeake Beach held the annual Light up the Town and Christmas Market. The festive event was filled with holiday cheer, shopping from local businesses, and the long-awaited live countdown to the illumination of ONE BRIGHT Town.

The evening started with live performances by the Beach Elementary School String Orchestra inside Town Council chambers. It was followed by the sounds of Christmas carolers, visits with Santa, and shopping from local businesses. From local bakeries to gift giving, the Christmas market was filled with all the essentials: greenery, garland and wreaths, local artwork, handmade summer beach bags, wine, fresh winter produce, jellies, and jams.

Thank you to the entire community of the Town of Chesapeake Beach and our business partners for making the evening a success: Abner's Crab House, Artwork by Anne, Barb's Bags from Willows Cottage, Beachin Bay Bakery, Baked by the Bay, Chesapeake Beach Candle Company, Chesapeake Beach Oyster Cultivation Society, Chosen Moments Boutique, the Allycatwalk, Windmill Farms Nursery, and Whistle Stop Winery.
